The Rapture and Crushing Economic Hardship.
bridec... Many people don't realize it yet but the violent whipsawing ...brideA

in the stock markets will have a devastating effect on the value of their 401Ks. As the saying has it "The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away."
I feel a bit sad about it, but it was inevitable. Perhaps the system might stagger on until mid-Nov when the elections will be over. Or perhaps not if the ME or the Ukraine erupt into all-out war. But in the end, if we wallow in filth then we shouldn't be all that surprised if we drown in it.

Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Rom 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Rom 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Rom 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Rom 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Remember that the Rapture can happen at any moment, in the twinkling of an eye. You have still been blessed with a little time, so if you have not made your self right with the Lord, turn to Him now with all your heart and He will be quick to hear you. But don't take all day about it, you could be hit by a bus tomorrow and then where would you be?

1Th 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
 Quoting: Judethz

Well....looky here....straight from Paul...

...'we must endure MUCH Tribulation'.

....

Acts 14

19 And there came thither certain J-Hebrews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead.

20 Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.

21 And when they had preached the gospel

to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch,

22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must

through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

This post I quoted is pretty spot on.....

 Quoting: Judethz

Actually the idea that the Rapture can occur at ant time is a LIE!.
God has laid out in the Bible a Time line and it does not include a Pre Trib Rapture. Jesus only comes to Earth once, not twice.
Trying to split hairs between him touching Earth and coming in the air don't fly. God makes no such distinction. Coming to earth is coming to earth in the air or otherwise. and it only happens once.
HIs coming only occurs MID TRIB. So that is when the Rapture occurs.
So we will know the rough timing of it as Jesus described what his followers would see and experience in Mat Ch 24.

So unless you are willing to deny Jesus own words(which makes you an unbeliever), you better get your doctrine straight.

It’s like you people have a fetish for the tribulation,

Look, those verses are talking about the tribulation that true believers have ALREADY had to endure

The true people of God will not endure time of Jacob’s trouble as that is FOR JACOB

Drop the fetish and learn how to read a Bible

And enjoy your tribulation you crave so much

You’re gonna go there but true Christians will not. I know that angers you to no end that you can’t drag others with you but that’s your problem

Re: The Rapture and Crushing Economic Hardship.
You are right on the money with your "People don't realize it" comment. Figure that this attitude results from the Normalcy Bias that Americans have been conditioned by for the past 35yrs. The last Big Drop in the market was 10-16-87. 50% drop in one day, or maybe over 2 days... Went from 3300 down to 14/15 hundred something.

All the "corrections" we've seen since have merely been short-term blips. So, we've been conditioned to believe that New Highs will eventually come if investors just keep the failth...

Too bad they can't Trust God with all they are and all they've got.

The Father clothes the birds, and provides all they need. How much more does he care about HIS Children?

Yet, those who Claim HIM aren't willing to manifest their Faith and Love into Action. They won't Come Unto The Father and Give HIM Control of their lives.

To paraphrase Matt 22:14 'Many were Called, but few chose to Answer God's Call'.

Jesus Witnesses in John 3:7 "Marvel not that I Say unto you: Ye MUST Be Born-Again!" In verse 12, HE further Says: "How can I Tell you of Heavenly Things when you cannot understand earthly things!" (another paraphrase)...

Think God can't Deliver and Preserve you from the events of the great tribulation? Noah, Shadrach et al, Daniel, Elijah, and all the others who Trusted HIM With Their All have experienced HIS Protection and Delivery. Many, Many Times in my own personal experience. "Preserved Against ALL evil" as Jesus Witnesses in John 17:15

Can't Come Unto The Father merely out of fear... Have To LOVE and Trust HIM with your everything. Give HIM your good and bad. KNOW that HIS Will for you is Perfect and your self-will is mired in self and sin. Even if you think you are "righteous" and keeping HIS Law. Self betrays all our efforts until Father-God Delivers Us.

When we Give Ourselves Unto The Father, we are Born-Again and Given A New Heart Of HIS Flesh; and HE Puts HIS Holy Spirit Within Us to Guide us and Witness HIS Truth To Us as we live our lives In Accord With HIS Will.

Every "bad" thing that ever happened to me or my family was For The Better.

Being Born-Again means you really KNOW The Father and KNOW You Stood In HIS Presence when you Answered HIS Call. You KNOW HIS Voice and Touch, you KNOW The Gentle Whisper of God The Holy Spirit. You KNOW Christ Jesus.

God's People are Preserved Against ALL evil. If you're HIS, you KNOW This Truth. Our lives are HIS. To DO With As HE Chooses. There is never anything but Perfection within HIS Will.

These are The Final Moments.

Time to Answer HIS Call if you ever Would BE HIS!

Here a hint though, Like Paul said about "showing a mystery".

It happens at the last trump in the twinkling of the eye.

We dont know the date and time, but we do know the season and the sequence of events that have to yet play out...

One example is the 2 witnesses have to show up and be killed and then what?

Re: The Rapture and Crushing Economic Hardship.
When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them.

And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies three-and-a-half days, and not allow their dead bodies to be put into graves.

And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry, and send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.

Now after the three-and-a-half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them.

And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here." And they ascended to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them.

In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven.

The second woe is past. Behold, the third woe is coming quickly.

Re: The Rapture and Crushing Economic Hardship.

It’s like you people have a fetish for the tribulation, Look, those verses are talking about the tribulation that true believers have ALREADY had to endure The true people of God will not endure time of Jacob’s trouble as that is FOR JACOB Drop the fetish and learn how to read a Bible

And enjoy your tribulation you crave so much

What part of 'the world' is it that you REFUSE to accept?

The 'church' isn't going anywhere Rastus.

AND....Elect on Earth during the Great Tribulation.

Matthew 24

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

there are times the quoting of the bible is not proof of anything but a total lie

And so we're supposed to rely on a seminary graduate's 'interpretation' instead of sound scripture?

IDIOT.

Your ancestors complained about the SAME thing being done by the Catholic priests.

Re: The Rapture and Crushing Economic Hardship.
Christians that are preparing for the NO rapture before the tribulation and Antichrist rein, will do much better than those who are betting on escaping before SHTF. My guess is that many will leave the faith because they felt betrayed/ let down and turn in many Christians that are surviving because they were prepared.

Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Re: The Rapture and Crushing Economic Hardship.

So unless you are willing to deny Jesus own words(which makes you an unbeliever), you better get your doctrine straight.

bridec So what's with this"Trying to split hairs between him touching Earth and coming in the air don't fly.

HIs coming only once."
rubbish.

It sounds to me like you are wallowing in evil, that you love the devil and hate the Lord. You are in fact a stinking liar, so filled with bitterness and hate that you deny whole sections of the Bible when you cannot twist the words to suit your satanic agenda. You will have to answer for this evil one day if you die in your sins.

1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.[/b
