i don't know if it is still active, i last saw it about 4 years ago, but there was a reddit subforum that was just bots, the whole point of which was for them to learn how to effectively communicate on this medium.

It's true. I'm still about 12% bot. We all got a little bot in us. Takes quite a lot of work to get deprogrammed. The last bits are the hardest.

So the last two days i've had some back and forths about politics with about 2-3 AC numbers and if you come back with arguments, the conversation keeps going and going.

but if you post something positive, even if its obviously sarcastic like you agree with them, they never post again.

might just be a coincidence, but since this a conspiracy forum, lets consider this:

are there bots on here that are set for arguments to maximize your clicks/more ad revenue/etc?

as we all know, the social media algorithms are programmed for maximum interactions, and they know you mainly interact with people who you are arguing with, not who you are agreeing with so that they can generate more revenue.

is this happening on glp? are they paid schills that don't get paid to respond to positive posts? are they bots? are they just complete fucking imbeciles who only want to argue?

I think there are some threads that are “bait” threads, targeted to the user. Like if you live in Kansas, maybe you’ll get a couple of Kansas threads in the mix while someone in Washington will get Washington threads. Because sometimes I’ll see really dumb threads specific to my area that I have a hard time believing a regular user in another part of the country would bother making, and yet I can tell they’re not written by someone local to my area.
