Even my wife, when he first started popping up on TV in Feb '20, said people will listen to him because he's good looking in a nerdy way and exudes confidence and power.

I don't see how. I had the same reaction the first time I saw him as I had when I first saw Obama. My stomach turned in the worst way and I had such a nauseaus feeling every time I saw him. Just evil. I still get that same stomach turning feeling when I see either one of them.

We know:

1) Conservatives have been treated shabilly and persecuted under the law over not wanting to get vaccinated and previously having some of our churches shut down, some voluntarily and some closed with prejudice. It was still voluntary (up to a fine point of not being able to remain free to attend church, employed or as a student, for some people.) "Where two or three are gathered" and we still had internet and could communicate by phone.

2) As Christians, it is our duty to pray, read the Bible, gather together to praise God and worship His only begotten Son, be thankful of our personal Salvation, and pray for others to come to know Jesus as personal Saviour (yes, even our oppressors and enemies), and for our daily bread and needs met or satisfied, pray congregationally, plan to take care of our families and brothers and sisters in Christ, which a lot of us did; many blessings. Plus a lot of us planned for contingencies and held them and became very healthy and God has blessed us and our families, taking the burden off the church and squarely on our own shoulders, as it should be.

3) Christians should never plan, plot, or otherwise think that Godless leaders or others in authority should be punished or killed under our own power or "out of God's time," yet we should pray that God have all power, bless His Holy name, to avenge our ills and save these poor souls by Holy Spirit convicting them of their sins, or, if not in his plan on this earth, take us home, repentant of our sins. Be "wise as serpents but harmless as doves," but try to stay alive. Bless them and be kind. You will heap coals of fire on their head later, in God's time, if they do not repent and believe.

Dream on. This guy isn't going to sit down for anything. And nothing will happen to him either.
