Perhaps the reason for censorship is that they don't want people to male the connection between their reduced food intake and the "miraculous" drop in the number of cancer cases, which would make sense if they soon roll out their new cancer "vaccine".

Bit of a baseless accusation isn't it? My father has a mutation that impacts fatty acid metabolism/storage and years of weekly fasting has actually contributed to his liver damage because of this. During the fast, his blood sugar plummets and his body overreacts by upregulating enzymes that store emergency fat reserves in the liver. When he breaks the fast, most of those calories are directly converted into fat and stored, which gradually caused non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

Now I don't know about claims linking fasting to schizophrenia, but it's a possibility. Fasting for prolonged periods caused huge increases in both brain dopamine receptor sensitivity and number, which could indeed trigger a latent schizophrenic or schizoid manifestation. This would probably only occur in people with genetic dispositions towards those disorders. In my personal experience, prolonged fasting induced a state of perpetual bliss and spiritual awakening, which today's anti-theistic psychiatrists would call psychosis. However, I was in complete control of myself throughout that experience, and it did not result in any long-term neurological problems. I believe that Christ chose to fast for 40 days specifically to reach this altered state of consciousness in order to commune with the celestial world, much like Buddhist and Hindu ascetics.
