It depends what your definition of "create your reality" is. Existentially, there are NDE testimonys that state that you DO create your reality, even to the point of deciding what events - good and bad - are going to occur in your life.

From a earth bound, pragmatic perspective, you do create your reality but the extent of that creation is both limited and dependent on many internal and external factors. For example, if you engage in good dental hygiene you will create a reality of healthy teeth and gums, however genetic factors, external influences etc can impact just how healthy your teeth and gums are.

I understand where you’re coming, but what if those people are unaware that they can control their own Reality, and for that reason are caused to the suffer the consequences of the forces/people around them that do control their own reality. Just a thought that came up when I read your post.
