3 children die, 6 injured after attack by swarm of bees

At least three children died and six other people were injured when a swarm of bees attacked them in a canoe last week in Guit County of Unity State.

Kaway Chang, the Guit County Commissioner told Radio Tamazuj on Tuesday that the tragic incident happened between Maga and Bentiu town.

"The nine people were inside the canoe, and a swarm of bees attacked them inside the canoe. The adults tried to escape the bees by jumping into the river but the children remained inside the canoe with nobody. Within ten minutes the three children were killed by the bees and six others were injured among those who jumped off the canoe," said Chang.

I have had 5 scorpion stings here in Costa Rica, scorps are mild here, like a bee sting.
If you do get stung, as quickly as possible, rub some garlic on the sting for 30 seconds, no more pain.
