Just 10 years ago wheat in EU was glyphosate free. Now with enormously subsided US and Canada wheat you cannot find a brand of pasta that do not test positive.

Good grief, European countries have had Roundup for years.

Glyphosate is used as a dryer for northern crops so that they don’t rot in the fall before they can be harvested. It’s applied to mature plants that are preparing for winter making the process uniform across the whole crop. This produces higher crop yields and less rot. The product isn’t introduced to the grains since the plants are no longer growing and the grains will be washed multiple times.

Glyphosate interferes with the shikimate pathway of plants, which produces the aromatic amino acids phenylalanine, tyrosine and tryptophan – but it does not exist in the genome of animals, including humans. Short story, you simply piss it out.

It’s a salt that degrades in the soil in 50 days. Take your noodles and put them in the sun for a while, no more glyphosate!

Glyphosate is an analogue of the natural amino acid glycine. Not a poison.

Finally, because you can measure something in parts per billion does not mean it’s harmful to people. People who have directly died from glyphosate drank a lot of it. The same would happen to you if you drank a solution of sodium chloride (table salt) and water. Salt will kill you.

Please focus on things that are actually killing people like fascism, communism, and bio-warfare.
