Not sure what statistical basis you are considering (but would appreciate you explaining it!) but the way I was considering the 13-12k$ region was based on a volume profile: https://imgur.com/a/zrbN93M As you can see, there is a heavy zone of volume starting at those levels and would be a lot of resistance to go through in order to reach lower prices. All things are possible, the question is more one of what is what is most probable over the time frame considered. :)
