Auctioning off the extra wife was pretty neat. And the guy objecting to the proceedings. Not on moral grounds, but there was not enough room for all the bidders inside. And Lee Marvin did a good job singing Wandering Star. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] Justme |

This movie was such a big deal when I was just barely 12 years old. I remember my little friends from the neighborhood getting so excited about it. I don't think I was allowed to go see it, but they were. They would sit and swoon over the actors and sing all the songs from the movie. My parents were incredibly strict about music and TV and movies that I was allowed to consume. At the time they filmed it, John Travolta was 22 and Olivia was 28. They could get away with it, because these were the days when high school kids were looking like adults by senior year. We had a thread about that here, how high school kids used to look older than they do now. |

Most of the chicks are hot, the lead male character is Vinnie Barbarino, and as regards non-metal tunes, the music is quite catchy and enjoyable. And, Olivia Newton John. That's it; just Olivia Newton John. Quoting: Where Eagles Dare One favorite scene: This sucks too Musicals are fagggy and douche chill inducing. So is dancing. Hopping around like fools |

User ID: 84240743 United States 11/06/2022 08:33 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The greatest musical spectacle on Earth comes around every Christmas in New York - the Radio City Santa Spectacular, or whatever it's called. I've seen it twice and felt like an amazed five-year-old both times! It begins with 3D glasses, continues with stages lifting up, going down, set pieces, actors, singers, dancing Santas and Reindeer, then eventually camels and other livestock that would have been at Jesus' birth around the manger. Just over-the-top spectacle! Then there's the Rockettes with all those gorgeous gams (legs). If you ever have a chance, see it. I've seen hundreds of musicals, many on Broadway, been in these shows myself, and the Radio City one is the most impressive by far. |
