Best Bible prophecies to discuss with athiest?
If you knew an athiest that was somewhat open to hearing about Bible prophecy - but only interested enough to listen for a few minutes , what few prophecies that are coming true or have already come to fruition would you mention?

Also what are a few future prophecies to mention?

The ones I have in mind so far are

Israel being restored as a nation

Euphrates river

In the future

Israel peace treaty

Damascus Syria being demolished

2 witnesses being dead in front of entire world (requires technology)

3rd temple

But people of other religions could say the same to you, that their religion is the truth.

What then? Argue, fight, battle, and even war?

Perhaps let's all put aside the notion that my religion is better than your religion, and simply show each other more love, caring, and understanding.

It is how we could get along with each other and be able to live in peace.

Love unites, hatred divides. Which do you think God would like us to choose?

Love thy neighbor.

Not love thy neighbor only if the neighbor is a Christian and have the exact same perspectives as our own.

Re: Best Bible prophecies to discuss with athiest?
Prophecy fulfilled: Approximately 500 years before Yahshua was born, the prophet Daniel proclaimed that Israel's Messiah would proclaim himself exactly 483 years after the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem (Daniel 9:25-26). Daniel further predicted that the Messiah would be "cut off," killed, and that this event would take place prior to a second destruction of Jerusalem. Abundant historical documentation shows that these prophecies were fulfilled exactly on time in the life (and crucifixion) of Yahshua. When faced with statistics about these matters, skeptics will often fall back on the argument that Yahshua purposefully self-fulfilled the prophecies. There is no doubt that he was aware of the prophecies -- for example, when he got ready to enter Jerusalem before the crucifixion, he told his disciples to find him a donkey to ride so that the prophecy of Zechariah could be fulfilled. But many of the prophecies concerning the messiah could not be purposefully fulfilled — such as the town of his birth (Micah 5:2) or the nature of his betrayal (Psalm 41:9), or the manner of his death (Zechariah 13:6 and Psalm 22:16). These are the kinds of examples that require not only multiple people acting in concert to fulfill the prophecy, but entire institutional mechanisms (i.e., crucifixion as punishment in a Roman empire that didn’t even exist when Daniel recorded the prophecy).
Matthew 7:2 & 7:12 are a prophecy specific to you, "By the judgment that you judge, you will be judged. And by the measure that you measure, you will be measured.... Whatever you want a person to do to you, do also to them, for this is the law and the prophets."

Re: Best Bible prophecies to discuss with athiest?
o The bible correctly states that oceans contain springs (Job 38:16). Science only recently discovered this to be true. Almost all the ocean floor is in total darkness and the pressure there is enormous. It would have been impossible for Job to have explored the "springs of the sea." Until recently, it was thought that oceans were fed only by rivers and rain. Yet in the 1970s, with the help of deep diving research submarines that were constructed to withstand 6,000 pounds-per-square-inch pressure, oceanographers discovered springs on the ocean floors.

o The bible correctly identifies earth as a sphere (Isaiah 40:22). At a time when many thought the earth was flat, the Bible told us that the earth is spherical.
o The bible does not state the age of the earth, and is highly interpretive in the creation account in Hebrew. It leaves ample room for concepts like evolution, dinosaurs, reincarnation, multiple worlds, etc. Organized religion and bible translations are the historical culprits who try to lock down these matters dogmatically (as they preach in contradiction to the literal Hebrew).

o Light can be divided (Job 38:24). Isaac Newton discovered that white light is made of seven colors, which can be “parted” and then recombined. Science confirmed this four centuries ago – but the bible declared this four millennia ago.

o Hydrological cycle described (Ecclesiastes 1:7; Jeremiah 10:13; Amos 9:6). Four thousand years ago the Bible explained He “draws up drops of water, which distill as rain from the mist, which the clouds drop down and pour abundantly on man” (Job 36:27-28). The ancients observed mighty rivers flowing into the ocean, but they wondered why the sea level never rose. Though they observed rainfall, they had only quaint theories as to its origin. Meteorologists now understand that the hydrological cycle consists of evaporation, atmospheric transportation, distillation, and precipitation.

o The sun goes in a circuit (Psalm 19:6). Some ancient scientists scoffed at this verse thinking that it taught geocentricity – the theory that the sun revolves around the earth. They insisted the sun was stationary. However, we now know that the sun is traveling through space at approximately 600,000 miles per hour. It is literally moving through space in a huge circuit – just as the Bible stated 3,000 years ago.

o The Pleiades and Orion star clusters described (Job 38:31). The Pleiades star cluster is gravitationally bound, while the Orion star cluster is loose and disintegrating because the gravity of the cluster is not enough to bind the group together. 4,000 years ago the Father in heaven asks Job, "Can you bind the cluster of the Pleiades, or loose the belt of Orion?" Yet, it is only recently with modern equipment that we realized that the Pleiades is gravitationally bound, but Orion's stars are flying apart.
Matthew 7:2 & 7:12 are a prophecy specific to you, "By the judgment that you judge, you will be judged. And by the measure that you measure, you will be measured.... Whatever you want a person to do to you, do also to them, for this is the law and the prophets."

The best argument is that calendar history is based on Christ

And this is outside the Bible...

BC - Before Christ

AD - “Anno Domini” in Latin. In English, this means “in the year of our Lord.”

Amo 8:2 (KJV) And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.

I think Jesus is important to show to atheists, so you could start with Zechariah 12:10 as a light intro, then Isaiah 52:13-53 for example. Point out that the entire book of Isaiah is found in the dead sea scrolls and dated to around 100-350 years before Christ was born.

The discovery of The Great Isaiah Scroll in 1947. This scroll has been dated and genuine. It is fully intact. It points to no less than 19 biblical prophesies concerning the prophetic coming of Jesus Christ 1500 years before. GOD works things out.

First of all there is no prophecy of an Israel peace treaty. The prophessy is in Daniel and says "agreement among many" and probably already happened last year when the papa signed a seven year agreement over the climate.
The big one I use is the mark of the beast. For everyone who says that every generation has thought they were the last, only this generation has the transhumanism technology for the mark.
