A lot of their songs were about where they lived. I’m in the area every night, I’ll be crossing the Tennessee River and going through Ft. Payne shortly. I listen to them all the time, today’s country music just doesn’t do it for me.

Ditto OP. Not sure how country became rap, but no messages anymore in music, good ones anyway. I have moved on to good artists like Cody Jinks, Chris Stapleton, Jamey Johnson, Blackbery Smoke, Colton Waller to name a few, but many, many older artists always on my playlist too. Love Scottsboro BTW! Beautiful.
