Here is an interesting tidbit of info I found on a website alert page. Don't hate the messenger. Use this info to reevaluate your suspicions. I myself bought a bag of cookies from a known favorite. I found a little bug had been looked like baked into it. First thing I thought of was oh great....they are sneaking bugs into our food without notice. The cookies were all stale. I had eaten two cookies....threw all the rest in the garbage. Now I find this warning and wonder if this could also be the case of my cookies. The cookies weren't just stale and crumbly but they taste funny too. Better safe than sorry.
