Women : how do you heal after Communist education?

I spent 22 years in school where I was taught to ace tests.

Now as a housewife None of that matters. I don’t have the mental practice of focusing on the details around me. How do I learn to keep my house clean. It seems such a foreign concept to me to constantly or frequently focus on my surroundings and maintain them.

I usually do a rapid total house clean, when my energy is up. But I want to do better.
