Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84736722 Just get rid of the windows or cover them with plywood. Nobody opens windows anymore, and cameras are better for seeing outside. It is a wellbeing and fire safety issue to have multiple windows to escape or just look out from. |

I could use plastic but then I couldn't look outside ever. FIX the windows and i wouldn't need multiple layers to stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Ha Ha Ha. I'm laughing at your miserable existence. Loser. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 83962627 United States 11/13/2022 08:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's not uncommon. You're just a shitty landlord. Not at all. One of the best in this county. I provide low income housing that is safe, clean, and I paint in between tenants. The local housing agency loves working with me because I’m not a slum lord. But fuck no to me buying curtains for them Provide them with blinds. |

They’re expensive but it completely blocks out the sun or anyone’s ability to see in at night. The sun here is brutal. |

If you working 3 jobs and something goes wrong, you might be late for rent or have no money at all. You can't take the curtains with you. You can't get a refund. Sometimes it really gets that close to the edge, do you buy curtain or do you buy food or gas? |

And lots of different blinds. Took a ton of work to get it all off, fill the holes. And yes one room had a sheet in it haha. But it was crazy how many screws we had to remove. New people just kept adding hardware in different places. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84726552 If a person has their windows open, no blinds or anything to block your view from inside; is it still your business or anyone else walking by as to what is going on inside. When I take walks and people have their garage door open, I just don't look in that direction, unless they are out there and I stop and talk to them. Either way I advert my attention to their personal space on to them, or to where I am walking. Garage open…you know I look. Tell a lot about a person by what they keep in garage Wow. Where I grew up in So Cal, everybody had their garage doors open. Older guys (WWII vets, mostly) would be out there reloading ammo. Others were working on their cars or building furniture. Power tools and machinery were in abundance in the average garage back then. That it just the way it was. That is what garages are for. Myself, as a kid, would have something clamped in the vise, bending it to my will. Normal stuff. But you people now look at an open garage as an oddity...please explain. I've been married so long, I don't even look both ways when I cross the street. |

Fire safety is your responsibility - just be careful. Burgle safety requires having an impenetrable house. There's no such thing, but the average house can be entered by hostiles without even using tools. That's stupid. |

My garage doors are always closed unless I'm moving a car or other stuff in or out. It's freezing here and I'm not about to heat the great outdoors. Same in summer. Close the damn door so I can work without the neighborhood snooping or trying to beg or steal tools. |
