Peeple in cities don't grow much food at all. It arrives by truck from farms run by other peeps that need cars an trucks to do their jobs. Without autonomous transportation devices, commerce will stop, along with food.

I live just outside of a huge city, takes more than 20 minutes for most people to get to work.

It's kind of sickening to watch.

The people on the east side all drive to the west side and downtown to work while the South siders and West siders travel to the other sides across town to work.
The traffic cams show how bad it is.

No one seems to live close to their jobs!

While I don't like the idea of a 100 day 15 minute travel restriction, I would love for them to threaten it enough to make some of these daily travelers actually move closer to their work places.

The morning and after work highways are too crowded and polluting too much.

They will also want our fridge, our Air Conditioning system and out heater as well, our cars and our washing machines, toaster and microwave....

Honestly, I fking hate cars. Problem is that outside of cities, it's basically impossible to secure work without one.

Does make you wonder though, why did they give us all of this freedom, i.e. affordable cars and cheap flights, if only to take it away from us after 40-50 years? And to rip up the train lines only to rebuild them? Very odd.
