The thing nitwit preppers dont understand.. Supply and demand and capitalism will always keep store shelves full America will NEVER run out of anything. There is always a price someone will pay a contract someone will take because as shortages occur the more a sector pays The only condition this doesnt happen is hyperinflation which isnt happening and probably never will happen. Even in the case of hyperinflation..alternative currencies gauruntee a liquid supply chain PLATA BITCHEZZZZZZ UPGRADE UNAVAILABLE The Rolling Stones said it best... The Great Baffling
User ID: 76309419 United States 11/15/2022 10:47 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Our lead times on parts is still insane, what we used to get in days takes months still. my jobs involve expensive digital AV equipment, it seems there is still 6month lead time on most things in the US. We deal with the companies directly, and they still have no idea when many items will be available. Always a waiting list. But then i'll check on big box dealers of the same items, and apparently they buy thousands at a time, so they get to the top of the list most often. The shortage is choking small businesses out of the market. This is one of the features of the shortages, benefit the billionaires and starve out the small business. |

We have recently switched our suppliers to bigger companies as well. We buy similar parts as well, I noticed all of our compressor parts are coming from motion industry now when before we used a local company, nw pumps. Still though, the lead times even there are fucking nuts. We had a PO put through on an air end for a pretty standard screw compressor, 9 months now, and they are saying probably not until January. “When you’re dead you’re dead, but you’re not quite so dead if you contribute something” -John Dunsworth |

Yah, they are always kicking the can down the road.. "maybe middle of september, no.. maybe november, maybe january. meanwhile, our customers are getting pissed off waiting for their new systems to be installed. We try to avoid paying retail for items in which we are dealers in. It will take away thousands$ of profit if we did. But we have tried searching in America, Canada, UK, etc for certain items... and no one has anything. I think in our case, it's the microprocessors that are hard to come by, or so they say. |
