Inflation is out of control

I'm not a retard but you are because you can't read. It's a branch. The branch is 5 inches in diameter. Do you know what diameter is? The branch is 15 feet long and 15-20 feet in the air. I feel like $1,200 is a lot for one hour of work. I will do it myself.

$1200 is not out of the ballpark. I charge $300 just to show up with my climbing gear. Do you have any idea how much just a climbing rope costs? Or a chipper? How about liability insurance and worker's comp? Here in California tree contractors must carry worker's comp now even if they work solo.

$1200 is pretty cheap when you consider the skill, risk and equipment involved. You would've already done it yourself if it were so easy. Just how much would you expect to pay if that tree or branch went the wrong way? Trees are pretty heavy and do not negotiate.

Be safe and spend what you need to ensure it. This does sound like a job you can complete. To make it easier, you might consider renting a lift for a day.
