Does the landowner know what she is doing?
Can you imagine someone doing that to your rental property, rip out the walls, destroy the ceiling, expose the electrical, that horrendous paint job and Gastley colors?
That condition is putting the landowner in a liable position and most likely void the insurance coverage.

I would be furious and contact the police and an attorney.

All that insulation was piled on the drywall, with possibly some metal drop-down sub-ceiling frame holding it up.
