Snow there is no joke ! It would not be unusual to see 2 feet dumped in a 12 hour period from the lake effect. Sometimes so much snow would fall that the plows could not plow it out of the road because there would be snow banks on the sides of the road 8-10 feet high. They would use front end loaders to clear the roads and load the snow into dump trucks which would then be dumped into the Black River.
