What % of people do you think have enough cash to afford to pay for the average priced home in the US?
You guys have no grasp on reality

Americans have been encouraged to over leverage their lives and pay interest on everything. Then they fail, banks repossess, and the cycle continues. That's why no one has any money. If Americans saved their money, instead of 6 streaming accounts, 3 car payments, $300 weekly grocery bills full of junk food, they'd saved 40k a year. In 10 years they could buy a nice home outright. Instead you want to argue that it's better to borrow 500k, pay back 100s of thousands in interest, so you can be remembered as the hero grandpa who left a 'legacy home for his family. Get real dude. No I want intelligent answers… unlike yours You’re just saying only people with hundreds of thousands of dollars should own homes. That’s means wealthy people would very quickly own all the homes as they would be the only people able to buy them. You haven’t really thought this through. You’re just mindlessly parroting grievances commonly made by uneducated people that have no concept of finance.
