Just because the herd does one thing, and someone tells you not to follow the herd, doesn't make that person unrealistic.

Instead you want to argue that it's better to borrow 500k, pay back 100s of thousands in interest, so you can be remembered as the hero grandpa who left a 'legacy home for his family. Get real dude. No I want intelligent answers… unlike yours You’re just saying only people with hundreds of thousands of dollars should own homes. That’s means wealthy people would very quickly own all the homes as they would be the only people able to buy them. You haven’t really thought this through. You’re just mindlessly parroting grievances commonly made by uneducated people that have no concept of finance. I never said only? If you want to take out a big fat loan, to prove we need lenders, then go for it. No one's stopping you. But I'm confused why you keep saying wealthy people are going to buy all of the homes if they aren't quickly lent out to middle and middle upper class. There's plenty of homes out there with for sale signs. "Rich people" aren't buying all of them. A lot are sitting for weeks now. Tell me where your logic is in there? I'm not picking it up.
