As a matter of fact - God protects his people at the same time he is judging the rest of the world
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78811704

Rev 12

14 And to the woman(Israel) were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent (3 1/2) yrs

And I already quoted Matthew 24 - where he pleads with them to flee to the moutains where he has a place prepared for them
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78811704

You can see - ain't Israel he's punishing this time :)

And now to talk about high tech in the after math of the gog magog war.

1 - War ends and the people are told to cut no wood for fires, but to use swords and any weapons the enemy has attacked them with. see Daniel 8:23 again.

2 - The antichrist then stands up

3 - Great Tribulation starts

Here's the high tech part: During the great trib:

Rev 13 - all must worship the image of the beast.

All must take the mark to buy or sell.

Either one you don't do - you will be killed.

The 2 witnesses appear and are subsequently killed by the "beast"

Then entire world is witness to this - and are horrified when they stand on their feet and God calls them into heaven...

One can say - during the gog magog war - jets were included from this verse in Ezekiel 38

9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm

In Amos 8 God said he was done with Israel as a people forever when summer fruit was gathered.

How could the Rothschilds creating a state called Israel possible be considered the fulfillment of prophecy?
 Quoting: MindWideOpen

God was never been done with Israel, nor will he ever be:

Isaiah 14

For the Lord will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78811704

I don’t understand how you can say that God will never be done with Israel when he clearly says in Amos 8 that there will come a time when “the end is come to my people of Israel; I will not pass by them any more”.

Amo 8:1  Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit.
Amo 8:2  And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more

All of those prophecies apply to the “last days”, the last days of the kingdom being under the control of the earthly Jerusalem.

That stewardship ended with Christ.

During that time - there will be no evil

Jeremiah 3:17
At that time Jerusalem will be called The Throne of the LORD, and all the nations will be gathered in Jerusalem to honor the name of the LORD. They will no longer follow the stubbornness of their evil hearts.

In that day and the last days starts with the Tribulation and end with the 1000 years when satan is released, to once again (successfully) gather an army to turn against Jerusalem and all it's inhabitants.

At that time, any evil remaining will be dealt with and then and only then will God create the new heaven and new earth.

I remember clearly a sermon back in the late 80's where the preacher in the church I used to go to said exactly the same thing.

For sure if one digs enough, I believe its possible to find talks in this sense from even earlier.

But let me guess: This time is for real and yours is the right one because all previous ones were unquestionably wrong...

Israel was the wake up call.

Yes, in the 80s, people were saying much the same thing.

So then, how much closer must we now be?

Much closer than we've ever been before.

In the 80's, the 70's, 60's and so on back to even thousand years ago.

"Much closer than we've ever been before" is the same phrase that ALL preachers along history been saying.

Yes, but then Israel became a nation again, as prophecised in Ezekiel 37.

Huge in the prophecy world; signaled the start of end times.

And now - we are there!!

All the prophecies told by Jesus are true in Matthew 24:7-14

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end

Again, its the same speech as hundreds of years. Just adapted by each current time epoch.

Israel was the wake up call.

Yes, in the 80s, people were saying much the same thing.

So then, how much closer must we now be?

Much closer than we've ever been before.

For thousands of years - they waited for the rebirth of Israel.

Then

It happened.

Jesus said in Matthew 24 - we will SEE the antichrist defile the holy place - an enclosed structure.

Never possible until now.

That we would SEE earthquakes in other parts of the world

Never possible until now.

And a biggie

[link to www.godlike.com (secure)]

When we SEE literally in realtime (live streaming) - this is the generation that will witness all remaining prophecy fulfilled

Never possible until now.

Also - the witnesses in Jerusalem will be killed in front of the entire world

Never possible until now.

----

So answer me this

Could we SEE these things a hundred of years ago?

Anyone ask themselves why God would be in any kind of hurry, when it took billions of years just for humans to show up, and then not even 400,000 years of us living on Earth?

If it takes a man 5 years to build a house, do you think he plans on living there for only 15 minutes?
I never forgive and I never forget

Dude! Its like you can't see or listen. This same jibber-jabber has been going on for centuries. Always "but this time is for real" because of this and this and that. You're doing exactly like Joseph Smith, Ellen White, Herald Camping and many, many, many others.

What's wrong with you?

Why so deliberately only argumentative?

Why so unwilling to believe?

Why seeking not to believe by denouncing?

Do you not love Jesus Christ?

When Jesus tells us we will SEE earthquakes in diverse or many places - he's not talking about locally.

He's speaking about places like the pacific rim.

How can you see them without the internet/web cams.

Also, in Revelation, there will come a time when nobody can buy or sell without "the mark".

This will mean large databases and the internet.

None of these things were possible until now, in our day and age.

What's wrong with you?
Nothing is wrong with me.

Why so deliberately only argumentative?
I'm rational.

Why so unwilling to believe?
I believe anything that has evidence. I try to believe as many true things as possible and as few false things as possible.

Why seeking not to believe by denouncing?
Believing something is being convinced it is true, by means of evidence. Its not a choice.

Do you not love Jesus Christ?
Show me evidence for god and I will believe its existence. Show me evidence that its worthy of my worship and I will worship.

As a rational person, I don't care about feelings. As a rational person, magic has no place in my life.

Of course - if you see it as a 'joke' - I can do nothing but leave you with these words from Daniel 12:

10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
