This is the story I learned mixed with the typical story that the Indians helped but they helped during the harsh first winter and the prosperous one was when the Pilgrims shared their bounty with the Indians.

The story of the pilgrims is a false narative,my ancesters were there no story passed down for this event.

celebrated was the fall of Atlanta July 22, 1864.

Sarah Josepha Hale proposed a national holiday but was
denided, it took several years and a few presidents to
declare a national holiday and the fall harvest in november
seemed appropriate.

There is no record of the Masuchusetts bay colony having
such an event with native americans.
