The story of the pilgrims is a false narative,my ancesters were there no story passed down for this event.
There are many proposed thanksgiving days, but the one most celebrated was the fall of Atlanta July 22, 1864. Sarah Josepha Hale proposed a national holiday but was denided, it took several years and a few presidents to declare a national holiday and the fall harvest in november seemed appropriate. There is no record of the Masuchusetts bay colony having such an event with native americans. Quoting: Cosmic Judge 80609654 Sooo... was there a Mayflower ship? Did they land in Plymouth, MA?? Was there a day of few days of feasting with the Natives?? Can you elaborate please?? What were you told?
