The extreme mental stress of the patient could most likely be attributed to the fear mongering and scare tactics used by various anti-vaccination groups.  Could it be possible that Doctors telling you standing 6 feet apart will help slow down the spread of a virus....WHEN THAT IS OBVIOUSLY UNSCIENTIFIC BULLSHIT...causes people stress? Or when Doctors tell you to wear a mask...EVEN THOUGH ITS WELL KNOWN THAT NO SCIENTIFIC STUDY HAS EVER PROVEN WEARING A MASK IMPACTS THE SPREAD OF A VIRUS EXISTS (which is what Dr. Fauci originally said)...might cause stress? Or how about when Covid which has a .26 mortality rate (and is only dangerous to elderly people with co-morbidities...is touted as if its the SPANISH FLU...when its actually less deadly than a the Flue (which has a .5 / .7 mortality rate)? So ACTUALLY THE GOVERNMENT LYING ABOUT COVID probably caused the stress?
