This Priest was a good man. Im 40 now. This priest died from lung cancer but he was a devoted catholic. I even stayed till 10th grade and got confirmed in the catholic church. For those of you who dont know the tradtional of confirmation in the catholic church, it means you are a stamped and certified official catholic who went through the progress of communion and confirmation which consisted of sunday school every day of your life from kindergarten to sophomore year of high school. Im no longer a catholic because they only fed me milk. Most of my compassion for helping the poor and people in need regardless of their belief comes from my catholic upbringing. Thats all I was taught as kid, the sermons, the bible study... all involved helping others but I wanted to know more like Bible prophecies, why Jesus did certain things, why God chose David etc... I got all my answers from a Non denominatial church. Same here... Catholic schools through the 6th grade in Chicago. What a torture chamber and house of horrors. Some of the most physically violent adults ever. I was not a perfect student and was physically abused by nuns grades 3, 4, 5, and 6th. My 2nd grade nun took elmers glue and poured in my desk chair to keep me seated, I dont remember the why but guess I was fidgety or? but yep ruined a pair of navy blue slacks we had to wear. I would never subject anyone to those freaks not to mention the pedophilia and they way the church handled that for years and now this demon pope who has room for abortion? Bullshit. No I have not darkened a Catholic church in years, |

I never went to Sunday school from K to 10th grade, yet I went through 1st Communion and Confirmation. The only Sunday school I ever went to were catechism classes for few months leading up to 1st Communion. Last Edited by GatorMclosky on 11/24/2022 11:27 AM |
