I am honestly mystified by the severe split in reality. Its like all their dreams came true when given a bully pulpit and they just can't cooperate with others.

This is so deep; I feel like they are programmed and off an assembly line. I had an older friend from a previous job and she was seemingly normal until one day it was as if she just switched, as if a switch had been hit and she became a seething Trump Derangement Syndrome victim. It was so bizzare.
