What blew my mind was buying a milk frothier and finding out how simple it is to make good foam. Why is it then that every brat who makes a 5 dollar caffe latte doesn't know how to make foam? I don't get it.

In the cafes, they pour the milk in a metal pitcher that holds about a pint, then froth it by infusing steam into the milk to heat and froth it. This works well only if the person has the skill set to steam milk properly. Most do not. I always ask for extra hot and foamy. I am now down to one cafe out of about 30 in my city that knows how to make a latte.
So why in the hell don't they just use a milk frothier? It blows my mind.

No more 5 dollar lattes for me when I'm out. I can now enjoy the most dynamite latte at home. I'll get something else at the cafes.

As far as a 15 dollar breakfast, that's not much at all if the food was really good. We all know for 15 dollars you could almost buy the bacon, eggs, butter, syrup and bread but you'd also have to shop, cook and clean up. It's worth the 15 bucks.
