but nah. i'm officially done with eating out. i mean dont get me wrong i make great food with asian/korean inspired dishes but sometimes a man just dont wanna cook lol.

prob gonna make a 3 egg n cheese omelette with greens and chives and some chili sauce when i get back. i'm fuming right now lol.

Keep the plant lectin intake low and cholesterol flows fine through the vessels.

It's the plant lectins that cause inflammation sites where the the cholesterol starts to plaque up.

What blew my mind was buying a milk frothier and finding out how simple it is to make good foam. Why is it then that every brat who makes a 5 dollar caffe latte doesn't know how to make foam? I don't get it.

In the cafes, they pour the milk in a metal pitcher that holds about a pint, then froth it by infusing steam into the milk to heat and froth it. This works well only if the person has the skill set to steam milk properly. Most do not. I always ask for extra hot and foamy. I am now down to one cafe out of about 30 in my city that knows how to make a latte.
So why in the hell don't they just use a milk frothier? It blows my mind.

No more 5 dollar lattes for me when I'm out. I can now enjoy the most dynamite latte at home. I'll get something else at the cafes.

As far as a 15 dollar breakfast, that's not much at all if the food was really good. We all know for 15 dollars you could almost buy the bacon, eggs, butter, syrup and bread but you'd also have to shop, cook and clean up. It's worth the 15 bucks.

I live in WA State where minimum wage is about $15 an hour and starting wages in the fast food industry is over $16 an hour. Everything is going up. The days of the 99-cent BK Whopper are over.

There is an old diner down the road. That meal cost $5.00 there. Where the heck do you live?

Why in hell would anyone pay a sum all out of proportion to what they’re getting, when they could just make something that’s probably better for themselves at home for just pennies, and take it with them? My wife and I often take day trips, and I can’t recall the last time we stopped at a burger place, a diner or café. We have a small cooler that we bought years ago for about ten bucks with those inserts that you pre-freeze. We load up sandwiches we made the night before along with cold drinks, and eat like royalty.

For longer trips we never stop at a restaurant, but go to the nearest large supermarket. The deli’s there almost always have pre-made sandwiches, or will make sandwiches for you for half the price or less that a rip-off fast food joint would charge you for a burger and fries, and many now have hot food selections AND a place to sit down and eat in the store.

I think restaurant’s future customers are going to mostly consist of people whose work takes them on the road, like salesmen, professional drivers and similar, while they average person, if they have any financial sense, will stay far away.
