Everything's just kind of dim and drab in oklahoma, no zest

Currently in oklahoma unfortunately, but you probably knew that already...yeah, it s not the worst but this place definitely sucks overall

Lots of meth heads, Npcs, and npc meth heads, and not much to do at all, the fields and land are lumpy and has torturous spiked spurs all over it. Mostly ugly, impassable thickets and shrub trees scattered across a bunch of lumpy, crappy land that no one really wanted in the first place

So the Eastern Half of the state is like that?
The Ouachita mountains, Arbuckle mountains, Wichita mountains, Glass mountains, Osage hills?

You don't get out much and watch too much tv.

Eastern half is forest and lakes, the Western half is like New Mexico.

That's right. I've lived in ten different states and Oklahoma is my favorite although I'm in Alabama now. I don't care for the people here much but the trees, mountains and mostly sunny weather and warmth are great. I liked Oklahoma City..lived there 20 years ago..I heard it sucks now tho. Always something exciting going on and even free things like the women's expo where I got to meet a few famous people. Now that I'm older, I prefer a quiet life so I live on 55 acres in the country

His face does that thing where it expands around the cheeks and jaws...it's kinda off putting.

So far, the show is okay. But it's a about a NY mobster banished to Oklahoma. The premise barely has legs. It almost seems lame.

Like when he first arrives, and tells the guy to take him to a hotel...and he winds up staying in a dive.

The problem here is that a hotel like this is going to be a magnet for drug dealers and prostitutes...and the last thing the mobster wants is to be in a place with lots of police activity.

Had it been me, and that guy takes me to a gross hotel like that, I would have smacked him upside the head and told him to take me to a real motel.

Like I said, this plot barely has any legs, and the writing and story ideas doesn't help it stand.

It was LoL when he fucks this 30-something chick and it turns out she's an ATF agent and gets briefed on his presence in the community with his spooge still swimming around inside of her the next morning.

If you've lived in or near Tulsa, you would realize what a farce it is. He wouldn't last a month around here.

There's a saying around here: Lot holes in them hills, lot of problems buried in those holes, you're startin' to look like a porblem.

That entire scene in the pot shop first episode was farcical. Tulsa PD or TSO would have his ass in cuffs for felony assault, armed robbery, and whatever else they could hang on his dwarf ass before he was back to the hotel.

We don't tolerate that shit around here. This ain't fuckin' Jersey where only the fuckin' criminals have guns. #FucktheTulsaKing.

The show doesn't make any fucking sense to people with sense.

Just like dude said, even this show that's based in oklahoma is about dude being banished to end up there, no body gets banished to a place that's any kind of desirable place

And yes, the ground and fields are lumpy and and stabby in east oklahoma too

Very little creative energy in oklahoma, heavy mind control in major population centers, and overall just a dim, low vibe and low thought kind of place

What a boring piece of crap! So Stallone is in the pot business is he? No action of any kind. Had to fast forward through episode 2. Can't see it lasting very long.

Never been a fan, but I like this one. Maybe it's because he's not the director? Same people that did Sopranos did this one.

Watched the first two episodes so far, it's funny and Stallone doesn't chew up the scenery.

My bad, didn't realize it was supposed to be a factual documentary.

It's one of those shows where you have to spend your disbelief. Otherwise it won't be enjoyable.

a mob guy shaking down a legalized pot shop is a very weak
plot. he does a good job in the role, but i don't think that
it's going to get past one season.

the writers from The Blacklist would help spin it to your liking.

It's entertainment if you pick apart every little seen you get no enjoyment.

I don't know how some of these people can watch anything.

It must have something, I'm not easily amused and have never cared that much for Stallone.

First I ever heard of olkahoma was in the film Officer and a Gentleman . When the bloke asked the girl to marry him and they will live in olkahoma. She freaked out and said no and the bloke hanged himself. Great film

It is the same plot and premise as Lilyhammer!

Famous line in the film too.

" Oklahoma? Only TWO THINGS come outta Oklahoma, steers and queers. Which one are you boy?"

He seems like a pretty cool guy - did a lot of his own stunts on Cliffhanger and was afraid of heights but put that aside for that project.
