I sent Hallmark Card Co. my idea for "scratch and sniff"
that's a million dollar industry now. Hallmark ran with
the idea and published the FIRST scratch-and-sniff children's
book about 6 months after my letter (both a "Bunny Follows his Nose"--rose, pine needles scents--and "Gingerbread Man"
--w/ginger "scratch-and-sniff-patch" at the back.)
Wish I'd have kept the letter--I could have sued! Oh well...
at least the "idea" got into the mainstream and we can
enjoy those magazines with all the perfume samples inside.
(My one invention and "claim to fame!" lol)
