I was exploring an abandoned mall and I noticed a creepy clown peering at me from behind a store front window. I got really freaked out and started walking quickly backwards towards the exit. The clown walked towards me and started waving and smiling at me. I ran as fast as I could to the exit but it was blocked by a bunch of chairs and crates. Looking back I saw the clown was gone. I walked very anxiously through the mall trying to find another exit. That's when I noticed the clown climbing up the freaking wall nearly to the skylight. He looked down at me and smiled, lost his grip and fell over 20 feet to the ground with a loud smack. I'm not a bad person but I said, "Thank you Jesus!" I was too freaked out to check on the clown, I didn't want to get near it. I ran through the mall and finally saw an exit. In the distance behind me I heard a maniacal laugh and I broke into a sprint running out the mall. I just kept running and running, my heart feeling like it was about to explode. I must have ran for over 2 miles. This happened to me 3 weeks ago. I'm never ever going back.

I had dreams yesterday that were worse than anything imaginable.

When you climb Mt. Rainer, you summit at early AM when the temp is below freezing to reduce danger from rockslides and slippery conditions. Very dangerous Mt if you don't know what you are doing and don't have a guide.

In 2006 I went to FOB "Warhorse" for a year with a well-known defense contractor. When I moved into my little 14X8 Conex trailer I noticed a shit ton of holes in the walls taped up with Duct-Tape and a 6ft wall of sand bags surrounding my hooch due to shrapnel. That night the incoming mortars started and the trailer about 60ft from me got a direct hit and the guy died. Long story short, for the next two weeks I couldn't sleep so myself and another guy just drove around all night in an Up Armour'd Humvee taking turns driving while the other guy slept. I eventually got over it and learned how to deal with stress and fear even though we were getting hit nightly. It helped knowing that we had some bad ass soldiers who would hunt those guys down every night, once the fire fight started outside the wire I was able to sleep. I arrived weighing about 190lbs and left weighing 145lbs, stress related weight loss I think.

The really bad guys/girls don’t show their true colors until after you’ve become committed to them in some way. Ie, marriage or setting up house together. Something that would cause you real problems to get out of. Until you figure out that you are in mortal danger, the conditioning continues. They don’t back down until you get suspicious of them. It’s a hell of a roller coaster ride.

Two summers ago I saw a person who was not a living human being. On a motorcycle that looked like the one Steve McQueen rode in The Great Escape. The motorcycle made NO sound and the rider was in a Military type uniform with a green German helmet. His skin was olive green. He wore no eye protection and was squinting at 110 KM per hour as he rode past me on the highway. I sped up in my truck and drove beside it for about 15 seconds trying to figure out what the hell this thing was. Then it turned its head and looked right at me! It had empty black eye sockets then two big eyeballs came out. They were bloodshot and when I saw that happen i hit the brakes and let it go. Scared the shit out of me.I went around the bend in the road and it was gone. To this day i wonder what the hell it was and why did I had to see that. Maybe there is a Hell.

Flying into Sarajevo in a Sherpa doing a max decent landing while taking fire. That was pretty fucking sporting. But, I wasn’t really terrified, interesting how emotions work. The crew chief was like, dude that was fucking great! Yeah.

I was attacked by pit bulls a couple of times. That’s pretty terrifying. A bear charging me was the most frightening. The growl they make is unbelievable. Actually, mama bears charged me a couple of times.

A drunk chick in college tried to have sex with me after she threw up. That was terrifying.

Speaking of college, me and my roommate made a bomb and blew it up. It was fucking awesome! Then the cops showed up. I got skeered. Hehe.

Night terrors are the most terrifying. Monster sitting on my chest trying to get me with lots of screaming weird noises and I couldn’t move. Then nothing happens, it’s like all that terror but no big ending.

Every. Single. Night. Now that I live alone in a big house.

1- being in manhattan on 9/11 when planes hit and the towers fell.

2- having my heart race for 24 hours straight before driving myself to the emergency room for heart surgery (a simple process called an ablation).

3- being in a cessna that almost crashed on block island, off the coast of connecticut.

4- having a ghost lean into my face while it was gritting its' teeth at me. it didn't have anything from the waste down.

i think that the cessna was the worst, even more so than 9/11 because i had no control over the situation and my center of gravity went up through my skull and out of my body lol...
