Bought a 61 Buick Skylark 2 door!

How is Beauregard doing?

A friend of mine had a used 61 Skylark when we were in school..we put a high rise manifold on it...a Holley double pumper carb...dual exhaust with Walker Continentals. Lifted the rear end with Monroe Air Shocks and put Cheater Slicks on it.

That car smoked those slicks from here to hell.

I loved that funky speedometer!

BTW, that Skylark only took 14 seconds to go through the 1/4 mile.

Speaking of hell...please pray for me as I think that's where I'm going...I'm as lost as lost can be.

That car was an unusual beast in that it had a Three on the Tree transmission and it's bark rubber in second gear on the upswing.
