I have worked in a dumb as a young lad the more I think about it the more I am sure it was nature showing me something and teaching me things ,the guys I were working with were late 50s and shocked at where it was and how it got there without anyone knowing or even suspecting , nothing exciting to report but that day my perspective on size changed and over the years I have talked to other guys in my field of work who were also in other dumbs and we're equally shocked at the size of what was there .

Years later I was working in the same city about a mile as the crow flies from the dumb I worked in middle of a city centre and a 30 ton digger vanished into a hole when I shot over to look I saw a sight I will never forget the digger is balancing 30 to 40 foot down on its bucket and is ready to fall into this huge hole but the hole is massive buildings long covered up . Watch or Google for the mudflood photos of France in the 1980s where the current street level is above a huge row of buildings and what I was standing on looking at this digger was a cornice of a massive building.
