Our only family vacations were coming to visit our Utah relatives every year. I absolutely loved how close the mountains were all along the Wasatch front. I knew Utah was where I wanted to live when I grew up. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84867232 I live at the foot of the mountains now, and wouldn't change it for the world. My wife and I have raised our family here and are soon to be empty nesters. We've been married for over 30-years. We love our neighbors, (Mormons and non-Mormons alike) and have been very happy here. Silicon Slopes has definitely changed the real estate market, but things are stabilizing. Keep looking because it's likely to go up again with the new year. I had the opportunity to move to Texas for work last year, but ultimately took a different job just so we could stay. Some people talk about feeling like outsiders when they move to Utah because of the Mormon influence. There's a lot more 'live-and-let-live' than you might think. Bot post Gold is the money of kings. Utah… always been interested in visiting that place. Here’s an early 90s British group called Utah Saints. That’s how I first learned of Utah. You ever heard of them before? |

Looks like his head got a good thump though from the windshield. Might have a slight concussion. Last Edited by JustmeTX on 12/02/2022 08:17 AM Justme |

The force of the impact was dispersed across most of his body. A car with a low bumper would have caused serious damage. He was caught by surprise, too, which helped. It’s like drunks in an accident…they don’t tense up, so the impact isn’t as jarring. |
