And scarlet fever cases in the uk remain exceedingly high each year since then, after decades of few cases.

I am immunocompromised and was on immune suppression therapy when Covid came around. They took me off the therapy because part of an immune system was better than none. I just caught Covid 4 weeks ago and I went through it just fine. I’m still tired, but no major issues and I didn’t even have to go to the hospital or doctor. I took care of myself at home. So having an immune compromised system doesn’t necessarily mean you need to take every jab. I took none. And I went through the worst of it and never caught it and I am in the public all day working with college students. You can take vitamins and supplements that will help give you a fighting chance. I made it through the worst and caught the lesser of the variants and was out of it and back at work in 10 days. Nobody is jabbing me. So that’s not really an excuse for sticking your arm out every time someone pulls out a needle. You have to advocate for your own health and not follow the herd.

I have just got off the phone to my sons school. My son never received the nasal spray thankfully. He was not at school that day. Me and his mother do not consent to anything like that but you know what these sneaky sobs are like.

But saying that he has been very poorly all last week and it started the week they gave the nasal spray out at school. So we suspect he picked it up from one of the other children that received the nasal spray as he was back in school the day after the nasal spray was done.
His symptoms were very close to this Strept A. I was very worried. But at the time I didn’t know about this. Probably a blessing as I would of totally freaked out.

What worried me is I asked the school do you have a list of children who received the nasal spray. The answer. No we do not. That is scary on its own. Why would a school not keep a record of something like that?
So I asked would it be the NHS who have the records.
Again the answer was no.
She told me it was a private contractor. Only they know who had it and who did not.
Again totally shocked by this.
She also told me there are a lot of children off sick from his school all with similar symptoms.

What really blows my mind is how people can’t see it. I think the lady on the phone got it as I was really surprised by how honest she was answering my questions.

They're considering shutting primary schools early (for Christmas hols). Possibly next week.

Covid is making us all more vulnerable to other diseases such as Flu, RSV, Strep, Hepatitis including Covid reinfection which increases the chances of chronic sickness, disability, death from Long Covid.

I know some will disagree. But Covid is real, and has sucked so many into a false sense of security. The payload is slowly being delivered.

Note that schools don't require parental permission -- to avoid it you have to give parental refusal. Also, they sometimes 'lose the paperwork' -- ask your kids if they had something sprayed up their nose.

Discussions only at present -- not been decided so no press release at this stage.

Adults are still carriers and more so with a compromised immune systems and can then pass on to kids.

No they weren't and I in fact kept them off school the day they did the flu Vax to rule out any problems

They state on the letter .."if you do not respond to this letter your child will not be able to receive said vaccine".

This is very possible, yes. They could confirm it by some mass testing of adults near an outbreak site, and could at that point do analysis by vaccination status. This, of course, won't happen.

Here in SW England (Somerset) loads of kids are off school. My 9 yr old has been off with a fever, sore throat, cough and abdo pains for 2 days. Scarlet fever is being reported.
