The first time you posted the Broccoli Hermit video, I watched it .. but not all the way through.
He creeped me out a bit ... and I actually like broccoli!

But I summoned Jesus as my strength and this time I took the time to write down what the results of the Hermit's 'thorough examination' were and here is my critique:

Claim #1 - The Hermit claims Marv Rosenthal invented the PreWrath view after 'losing his bible'; later finding scraps of other bibles and inventing this 'novel' idea of a PreWrath Rapture. Additionally, Mr. Rosenthal had to resign his position at 'Israel My Glory' ministries, claims the Hermit.

Fact #1 - Mr. Rosenthal did not 'invent' the PreWrath view, nor is it 'novel' or new. I have read Mr. Rosenthal's book; it is a synthesis of the strong points of Pre, Mid and Post Tribulation Rapture positions. If anything, Mr. Rosenthal gave the synthesized view a name .. 'PreWrath'.
Back in the day, I also received his ministries' magazine 'Israel My Glory'.
Mr. Rosenthal resigned from that ministry due to the fact that the PreTrib Rapture was part of their doctrinal belief statement and he could no longer support that errant view.

Conclusion #1 - The Broccoli Hermit is being disingenuous and working as a false witness against both Marv Rosenthal and the synthesized endtimes view, which is not 'novel'/new, but simply has a new name: PreWrath Rapture.

Claim #2 - The Hermit claims that PreWrath should be called MidWrath because there are more than one Wrath of God. ie - 'Wrath(s)' of God.
He attempts to equate the 'Last Trump' with the last mini blast/toot from the shofar.
He claims 'Last Trump' has nothing to do with a Trumpet.

Conclusion #2 - Since the Broccoli Hermit does not use the Wrath of God as a time/event marker in Revelation, his entire Revelation timeline is linear. (See his painting .. all linear)
For example - He does not see Rev 6:17 and Rev 11:18 as the same Wrath of God event. Therefore he HAS to claim more than one Wrath of God.
BTW - There is only ONE Wrath of God / Day of the Lord. One.
It is NOT EVER called the Tribulation in the scriptures.

Claim #3 - Hermie (Michael Pearl) makes the claim of a 'Secret Rapture' which takes place in the twinkling of an eye. Since he claims that it takes Jesus 45 days for the Second Coming to happen, the Rapture and the Second Coming cannot be the same event.

Conclusion #3 - The Second Coming of Christ ALL men will see. The scriptures know nothing of a 'secret rapture'. At Christ's coming, we will be immediately and instantly translated ... this is the twinkling of the eye. The Lord Jesus Christ will then remain for all to see .. hence the term 'parousia'.

Claim #4 - The Hermit claims that Revelation 13 happens AFTER the 7th Trumpet sounds.

Conclusion #4 - This is what happens when one does not understand that the book of Revelation does not unfold linearly. Sections of Revelation give different views of the same events.

The Broccoli Hermit spends most of the rest of the video simply reading scripture, as if reading it is enough to validate his endtime view.

A couple of comments from the Broccoli Hermit are strange:

'This is a different God than the modern God'
[2 Gods??]

'I can't find the False Prophet'
[On a painting that he supposedly painted and took a long time to complete .. Dementia??]

There are other standard PreTrib comments such as 'No Man Knows the Day or Hour' used in an attempt to buttress his position, which are weak indeed and tied to calendrical differences across cultures.

That's my take on the Broccoli Hermit's errant endtime theology.

I'll stick with the broccoli grown in my own garden.

One more item from the Broccoli Wizard:

He claims that Matthew 24:31 references 'Tribulation Saints'

"And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." Matt 24:31

I see 'elect' in there, not 'tribulation saints'.

This is why one should use exegesis to study the Bible and NOT isogesis.

He then, because of this error, goes on to claim that there will be 2 Raptures.

Gee Whiz, with teachers like that, I can see why you pre-tribbers are so confused!
