People are eating pet food as cost of living rises

Why only Cardiff, do people there have a particular affinity for pet foods?

A can of cat food is half the size of a can of ravioli and costs the same.

Just buy some hamburger and split up into quarter pound patties. About a dollar and some change for that. Better and cheaper than cat food. 1 chicken thigh is about a dollar. Then add some fruit and veggies that are still cheap to that. Have some oatmeal for breakfast. Or skip it and have it for lunch. Most adults only need to eat twice a day. It’s not that expensive to eat if you don’t over eat.

Milk, potatoes and oatmeal will keep a person alive. All the nutrients are there. And very cheap.

The cheapest cat food is 99 cents a can. You might as wall eat real food.

That sucks.

People can make heated sandwiches with an iron. Make soup in a coffee pot. As long as you have electricity you can cook food.

Obviously it takes 1000w kettle and a 1500w iron to do that and here's the kicker...
