People are eating pet food as cost of living rises

The canned dog food I get my dog sometimes actually does look and smell pretty good. My boy tried some and said it tasted just like beef stew.

But it's not cheap. It would end up being just as much if not more than regular people food.

This is just stupid.
Get a $1 pack of spaghetti noodles and a $1 can of sauce. A single person can eat on that for a few days at least.

The cheapest own brand tinned chicken in gravy costs less than dog or cat tins.

Noodles cost 30p and you add hot water. A brand new basic plastic kettle costs £5 or free on fb marketplace or £1 in a charity shop.
