Quoting: CigarTigher I tried milk , it works, but makes me throw up afterwards:(. I can't take certain medications because I am pregnant. I've tried baking soda and water but I don't think I got the ratio right. It didn't work. Any tips? CigarTigher My wife takes this (Original Papaya Enxyme) for acid re-flux and heartburn. I have read on the container to check with your Dr. if Pregnant. It's over the counter stuff seems pretty bland by what I'm reading on the container. As a precaution I would make a call to the Dr about this. It works for me also. Hopefully this works or another tip has helped you. Jed Eckert: C'mon! We're all going to die, die standing up! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 83762665 If you take it undiluted, though, make sure to rinse with water afterwards. That stuff is great for heartburn, but murder on the teeth. I saw that it was unpasteurized and I read that pregnant women cant eat or drinking anything unpasteurized, so I will have to get pasteurized ACV. Quoting: CigarTigher Mastic Gum is a cure. Make sure if you take any medication for heartburn that it's out of your system first. Then fast for 16 hours or more and take Mastic Gum tablets. I was on prilosec and nexium for years and it did nothing but ease my symptoms. I had bleeding ulcers. |

Quoting: BFD That's what works for me. Apple cider vinegar contains 5-6% acetic acid. Can you explain how the chemistry work for acid reducing acid reflux? Yes because most Acid Reflux isn't really a too much acid problem, it's production of acid for too long, see lack of enough acid to digest the food in your stomach in a timely manner, makes it so that over time your stomach just keeps on producing acid almost full time. So if you have extra acid in your stomach, it will stop over producing. As a Sufferer of Barrett's Esophagus, it was really hard to wrap my head around this concept. :Pirate Flag: 8-14-2018 The day Free Speech died in America |
