I'm pretty much thinking, if we're going to peruse GLP, then we're going to have to put up with it. Sometimes I leave the site for a spell, because I can't take it anymore, the infantile rudeness, and right out for all to see ugliness.


GLP serves a purpose, but it is not fully user friendly.

Something like that would suffice. Just something where each user can say, “nope, don’t need to see that today”

I realize that with freedom comes the potential for idiocy, it would just be nice to avoid even reading immature thread titles. I easily avoid reading the threads, but every time I open GLP, it’s just ugly to see “d*ck sizes, do they matter?” Or whatever other 13 year old boy posts there are that I could not care less to even think about.

It could even be used for threads that are just hard to read for a particular person for whatever reason.
For example- domestic abuse threads are hard for me to see or read about. It would be great to hide a thread title that’s about one spouse killing the other and their kids. Not from everyone, just from the user who would prefer not to think about that subject at this moment in time.

It just seems like GLP is the Maury Povich of discussion forums sometimes.
