The "stop trying to force it on other people" is an interesting point. But it's not particular to this conflict. There's a lot of people, all sorts of people, on a lot of issues, that showed up to late, but want to fight anyway. So, they just pretend that someone else is doing the thing that they wished they could've fought.

convicted of what? he did not commit a crime. He exercised his free opinion-speech. Hate speech is still permitted in majority states with a few exceptions. Plus even in those states where you could be prosecuted over hate speech, you would have to direct it specifically towards someone. Kanye did no such thing on the podcast. Not even did he incite to riot. Nor did he order anyone to commit a crime. All he did was act goofy while trolling the audience on AJs podcast. You're reaching.
