They used to be the biggest freaks, from Europe and USA, all the xtc burn-outs in the 90's, living like kings and queens here, life was still dirt cheap, teaching jobs easy to get, an Italian guy with 10 words of English that you could barely understand could teach here, pay, 50 to 70 dollar US AN HOUR.... Then all of a sudden you had to have a University degree to teach and you're lucky if you make a 1000 dollars a month, so all those folks moved to Vietnam and Cambodia where things are still great from what I hear....
