What for? Keystone is heavy oil from Canada that needs higher pressure in order to flow in the pipe. Kind of inevitable it would leak. Less Keystone oil in the US pipeline system results in more light US oil which will reduce gasoline prices even more. Keystone oil, when it is not causing leaks, just clogs the pipeline system until it is unloaded unto ships in the Gulf of Mexico so it can be refined in Venezuela where they have heavy oil refineries.

Well for what it's worth, I did get off the couch and drive down to the gas station and filled it up. That's all the fuel plan I have right now.

Wait, don't we have our strategic oil reserves sitting in massive tanks in Texas? Let's just tap into that.

The Keystone Pipeline has NOTHING to do with U.S. gas or oil prices (realistically)

It IS used to transport Canadian oil to U.S. refineries where it is processed, then sent around the world.

It WILL BE USED as an excuse to raise prices, IF the government lets that happen.

Biden shut down the Keystone XL pipeline extension when he entered office.

The Keystone pipeline was built in 2010.

The XL Extension was a major increase in capacity.

Yes indeed.

The product will still go from point A to point B, by other costlier and more dangerous methods. Mainly that has meant by rail. Rail is a hundred times more likely to result in massive spills and explosions. And large rail unit trains are great for holding up traffic of other citizens trying to make the economy work.
