User ID: 80582221 United States 12/09/2022 11:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Known the guy most of my adult life. We were like brothers; literally inseparable. I'd have taken a bullet for him. Quoting: Obi Won I hadn't seen him as much as I should have once Covid hit (as I moved 80 plus miles away) and everything got shut down. I'm not looking for any sympathy, but thanks for the thoughts. I'm punishing myself as I never got to say goodbye one last time. Not having closure sucks. I didn't get to tell him how much he meant to me over the course of nearly half our lifetimes. His name was Jimmy and if you could find it in your heart to say a prayer for him I would really, really appreciate it. Autopsy said he died of cardiomyopathy (an enlarged heart)...Go figure. :-( Sorry for your loss Stand for truth and freedom! |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 78551123 Canada 12/09/2022 11:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I hear you. My best friend, irreplaceable, died a few years ago. I know he would want me to go on, just like jimmy with you. Hopefully we'll all meet up on the other side one day and laugh about it. Keep going brother, until the end. Nothing lasts forever, including the pain and bad stuff. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 84882569 Canada 12/09/2022 11:48 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm am truly sorry for your loss, OP. Trust me. Jimmy is with you right now and he knows how much you miss him. Talk out loud and tell him goodbye. He will hear you and maybe he will be able to give you a sign as a way of him saying goodbye as well. I'm saying a prayer as well in hopes that it brings peace to your wonderful friend in his new (after) life. Known the guy most of my adult life. We were like brothers; literally inseparable. I'd have taken a bullet for him. Quoting: Obi Won I hadn't seen him as much as I should have once Covid hit (as I moved 80 plus miles away) and everything got shut down. I know it's too soon now but in a couple or a few months tell her about griefshare.org. It helped me get through losing my wife last year. I would recommend her find a group to help her through her grief work. [link to www.griefshare.org (secure)] I leave this here so you will you have it when she is ready. And it'll be soon for me (long story). I just pray to see him again after I pass. |

User ID: 80037766 United States 12/13/2022 09:05 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I didn't realize you were having surgery.... Is it okay if I do some energy work with you?....okay, guidance just suggested every morning for seven days, would that be okay for you? Perhaps the energy can get some of the swelling down, and speed the recovery process. It takes nothing out of me, at all, quite the opposite, and I'd only be with you for a matter of minutes each day....maybe a little longer the first day, depending on how easy or difficult it is to connect with you. Heh, most of us spiritual folks and energy workers are very guarded with our energy fields.... You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete. -Buckminster Fuller ...I adapt to the unknown, under wandering stars I've grown, by myself, but not alone...
