(OP) User ID: 80037766 United States 12/10/2022 02:26 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I always pay cash when I go to the dispensary, because I don't want to pay the $3.50 charge to use a card, but when I went yesterday they had signs at the front door and at every ordering station saying they could no longer take debit cards, and I believe credit cards have been not usable for awhile. Quoting: cosmicgypsy I asked the owner if it was just Purlife, and he said no, that it was industry wide. I told him that I thought it was a lame ploy, and spoke volumes. He agreed. Now, why do you think it might be that TPTB of credit card companies and banks would want to tamper with access to cannabis....hmmmm? Could it be because it is an aide in dealing with the physical and emotional issues we most of us have going on?....positions that mostly TPTB have thrust us into, btw. Could it be because we're more using the flower, rather than the big pharma "crop" shoved in our faces? Could it be because when we utilize the flower responsibly, we're less out of their grip? Could it be?..... But is this just New Mexico, or is it the same in dispensaries across the country? You must be getting old or are just retarded. I had to 1 star you. Dispensaries have ALWAYS been cash ONLY. Not here in New Mexico....whaddya think I'm lyin'?....yuh goofball. No, I actually just think your senile. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84899513 Does that chocolate have cannabis in it?.... BTW, I can tell you medicinal card holders that Bhang 200 mg chocolate bars are the bomb for a good night's sleep. I take 60 mg at night, and BOOM! I'm out like a light after about three hours. Although, perhaps you don't have to have a medicinal card for that strength where you live....I dunno now, now that I've found it's different according to what State you're in, perhaps it's different for you, or Bhang products aren't available to you. Recreational users can get 100 mg bars here, but they're more expensive per dose, and obviously less THC per dose. I've tried the Elevated brand, but their chocolate was just icky, really grainy. The Bhang chocolate is so smooth, and the flavor is perfectly fine....and boy howdy, will you ever sleep well.... Even if it is leagal in some form in certain states it is still illegal federally. Credit cards are obviously tracked. This is why dispersaries use cash. Also better for the dispensaries come tax season. |

People in nm SHOULD utilize Colorado? The only way nm cuts the "trying to make a cumbersome system" of it is when people buy california or colorado at their own convenience. (OP) User ID: 80037766 United States 12/10/2022 04:26 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | To clarify my post from earlier, I'm in Arizona, and some of the dispensaries here are set up to accept debit, but not all of them. Some locations of the same corporate entity (Harvest, for example) take debit, while others locations of the same chain do not. My guess is it's because every individual location has a different state MMJ license, and the ones that swipe debit at the counter basically "backdoor" the charge under the license holder's LLC name as a miscellaneous charge, and add on the $3.50. And yes, every single dispensary I've ever set foot in across multiple states have always had those little ATMs available to use. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75602 I'd love to be able to use my CCs there to get airline miles and cash back. I'm careful with credit cards and never carry a balance. I'm in a town of 38,000 people, and there isn't a single dispensary that has an ATM outside of it. I'm thinking there'd have to be more people in a town/city to warrant that....
