Thanks, when I was a kid I watched all the shuttle entries fly over the gulf States, awesome stuff. Sonic booms and all. This was before the accident and they diverted re entry away from land. I know it will not be visible from the eastern United States. It's coming around the Earth from below the South Pole and re-entering over the South Pacific. It will do a skip re-entry go back up for a little bit and then re-enter again over the Pacific close to San Diego. Think it will be visible during re-entry above the horizon as far east as SLC? |
