The biggest thing is I think, the First Transaction can be a series of logged data from public sources, as well as a deposit into the system from my account, I have some money and want to invest in this idea. There will be pay for you in the future, if you are serious about this. I am.
I will work on well-formatted resume in the interim and find out if I actually am able to conceptualize the technical aspect enough so that we can efficiently design and roll out a 5-person testbed setup. For myself, I'd like to somehow create an AI Training set as well with the information that is made available. For example: I will login to my bank, my social media, and other things I will attach to this system, publicly.
We can go from there.
Do you have any ideas as to what other types of First Transactions would make sense? I have a rather large amount of capital to invest into this project.

- I think you could think in terms of facilitating flow of money, instead of logging data.
- It's the data logging at a transactional level which makes people worry. Governments and corporations do need to be held to transparent accounting, their transactions should be logged publicly, if possible.
- But day-to-day people have a right to go buy mushrooms, boots, toys, music... etc with literally zero government or corporate oversight. Otherwise, we might end up locking ourselves into a control grid. Heimdall and others have raised understandable concerns about this.
- In general, I am much more excited about browser-only, open-source UIs, which facilitate the free flow of money and donations between people. If you're an IT guy with brains, take 6 months out to learn some serious UI/UX skills., to Apple level and beyond. Then you could make something which had real impact.
- Here is the philosophical question. how do you lift people out of poverty, without making them become part of a centralized collective?

- 30USD donation to someone who wants to buy a Ukulele.
- 300USD for someone who wants to start a home duck farm/chicken coup.
- 1000USD for someone who wants to build a tiny house, or hobbit home. Or, how could your system be used to bring prosperity to a hippy festival, while respecting their privacy 200%?.
The groups that solve the flow/privacy equations in favour of maximum flow, and maximum privacy, will end up making hugely popular software, IMO.

A guideline: The more you stay on the server, the more danger there is of control. The more you stay in the browser, the more you can liberate people. Obviously you need to host somewhere... but the lighter weight the servers are, the more transformative a system can be.
