I have been banging the parallel structure drum for quite some time, in my ignorance I did not realize our current forms of control are the parallel structures. It was A.L. Kitselman that inspired me in Hello Stupid where he posited government should be ground in wisdom and run on computers and concepts such as one vote for one man were inherently flawed.
Trying to flesh out that idea lead me to consider that we might need something outside the current control apparatus, if it were possible. I have always been leery of bitcoin and blockchain seeing them as already part of the system. Who owns the code controls all. I too posited it would have to be open sourced and taught to everyone who would participate so that the system might be self policing. From a programmer perspective, which I am not, I have no idea if that is possible.
I am interested to see where this leads and optimistic and hopeful. I think Mark's teaching about Natural Law should absolutely be considered foundational for an endeavor such as this. I do not know him personally, maybe in time that will change as I completely realized that his teaching and my pursuit of parallel structure based on wisdom, compassion and service to others are practically one and the same. The realization I came to was I was trying to elevate what already is and it makes more sense to you the foundation he has laid, no sense trying to recreate the wheel so to say.
My position with Mark's work is it seems to be missing application for those who are not teachers or have the technical ability to do what he does. The masses need something they can plug into as a jumping off point, something tangible they can see or participate in, Natural Law in practice and not just theory.

- Once you open source something, power struggles dissipate. What if you could make a copy of the Iron Throne with one click? What would that do to Westeros power dynamics? Imagine 100 Iron Thrones. That would be very healthy for 90% of society.
Likewise, what if The One Ring was open sourced? Open Source also allows for open, public code review. If Twitter was open source, they might only have a few hundred staff.
Open discussion, copiable code, and open code review make it pretty much self-policing. Don't like some control freak? Click the project and make your own version.
It all comes down to getting MONEY to the 10% of Earthers who can turn everything around.
