Surely they have learned from the past recent winters that those winters are getting more severe. Their cattle are worth more than gold not just to them but to all the people that depend on the protein. Pray for the ranchers/cowboys/owners to have wisdom to act early and not let their cattle freeze on the hoof out on the range. Indeed. Let's not forget 2013. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30404241 More importantly, why the fuck do people that live in the PNW forget how to drive in the rain every year. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30404241 It isn't that so much as they get fatigued I imagine and timing is everything and also money to pay the cowboys to go out and round all the cattle up and then a matter of where to house/shelter them that far out on the range. The heart of all ranchers and cowboys is to protect their animals at all cost but sometimes it is just hard especially now with the economy struggling and money hard to get and costs of everything up so high. We need an intervention....from GOD. Please don't forget in your Christmas prayers of thanks to thank GOD for all the cowboys that manage your protein/meat so it can survive. Without cattle and cowboys people are going to be really hungry like they have never known here in the US. You can't thank them enough for the hard work they do to preserve your food supply to continue. P.S. I have no affiliation/no employee with any rancher/cowboy/owner or any advertiser. I am just a person paying attention/reading and listening. Nothing against them and they do work hard. But who eats hormone filled beef these days? I eat fish, a little chicken, and venison. |

OP, I grew up on a farm in south-central Montana and we raised cattle every year. I remember many winters where we had sub-zero weather with wind. Believe me, the farmers who have cattle are acutely aware of the coming deep-freeze. As long as the farmers can keep the cattle fed and give them a relatively dry place to lay down, they can handle the cold. |

You could be right. With a flat earth, the planet would be in a disk shape, and Siberia would be on the other side of the disk. It makes perfect sense that you froze your ass off, by going from one side to the other, because I've heard that the dividing point between the two haves is razor sharp. BTW, were you able to reattach your ass, so you would be able to sit down again? If not, I do hope you saved your ass, regardless, as it might be important at a later date.
